AI-Assisted Mural Design for Magnum Ice Cream
This mural was created as part of a large-scale environmental graphic celebrating Arkansas' love for ice cream while showcasing Magnum alongside other iconic frozen treats. The concept blends recognizable local landmarks, outdoor culture, and regional landmarks into a vibrant illustrated landscape centered around the bold "ARKANSAS LOVES ICE CREAM" message.
To bring the artwork to life, I developed a hybrid creative workflow that combined AI-generated imagery with traditional design techniques. Individual scenes and visual elements were generated and refined using AI, then meticulously composited in Photoshop into a cohesive illustration. Every component was color-matched, retouched, and integrated to create a seamless visual style across the entire mural.
The project also involved AI upscaling to prepare assets for large-format production, vectorizing key graphic elements, and additional illustration work in Adobe Illustrator to ensure clean, scalable artwork where needed. The result is a polished mural that maintains the warmth and charm of hand-crafted illustration while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate concept development and production.
