Arkansas Loves Ice Cream
Environmental Mural for Magnum's New Arkansas Headquarters
As part of the launch of Magnum's new Arkansas headquarters, I designed a large-scale environmental mural celebrating the state's culture, landscapes, and passion for ice cream. The artwork combines iconic Arkansas landmarks, outdoor adventures, and local character into a vibrant panoramic illustration centered around the message "Arkansas Loves Ice Cream." The mural was created to bring energy and a strong sense of place to the new office while reinforcing Magnum's playful and premium brand identity.
To create the final piece, I developed a hybrid AI-assisted creative workflow that blended emerging technology with traditional design craftsmanship. Individual scenes and visual assets were generated and refined using AI before being carefully composited in Photoshop into a single cohesive illustration. Every element was color-matched, retouched, and integrated to ensure a consistent visual style across the entire mural.
The project also included AI upscaling to prepare artwork for large-format production, vectorizing key graphic elements, and additional illustration work in Adobe Illustrator to achieve clean, scalable assets where required. The final result is a production-ready mural that combines the efficiency of AI-assisted creation with meticulous art direction and hands-on design refinement.
